Founded in 1892, the Portland Art Museum holds a collection of more than 32,000 works of art, including European paintings and sculptures from the Renaissance to the present.  Sharing its location with the NW Film Center, the Portland Art Museum is one of the 25 largest museums in the Unites States.  It houses a beautiful collection of Native American art.   The PAM hosts lectures, films, concerts, and other arts-related special events.
